Our Story
Denali Park Hotel is a unique lodging property located in the town of Healy, Alaska, just 10 miles north of the Denali National Park entrance. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants, gas stations, a bank, and the Three Bears Grocery Store. Flightseeing, golfing, hiking, rafting, ATV rides and horse-drawn covered wagon tours are all activities that are based out of Healy.
There are plenty of adventures to experience near the Denali Park Hotel. We recommend that you rent a vehicle as the hotel does not provide shuttle service and there isn’t public transportation available in the area. Some guests have chosen to rent a car in Anchorage or Fairbanks, while other guests, who ride the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park, can rent a car from “Keys to Denali”. Alaska doesn’t have many main roads so getting to the Denali Park Hotel is easy by car and the roads are well maintained. A mile north of the Denali National Park entrance is the Denali Canyon area, where you’ll find charming gift shops, chock full of your favorite souvenirs as well as a number of eating establishments.
A stay at the Denali Park Hotel is relaxing, authentic, and highly memorable. Our grounds are quiet, peaceful and brings you close to nature. Denali Park Hotel has four single-level, lodging buildings each with twelve (12) rooms and parking right outside your door.

We really liked this little hotel. The rooms are older but extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The hotel office also had coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available for free during their opening hours. The staff was so friendly and gave us some great food recommendations in the area. The location was great as well. We were less than 15 minutes from the park entrance, which made running back to the hotel an option if we needed it. Overall, we thought the Denali Park Hotel was a great option for our stay at Denali.
A most wonderful experience! My husband and I stayed here two nights. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cozy without being cramped. The surroundings were quiet and our view out the back window was off the woods. The staff was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Sherry was a delight, and makes great coffee too!
As a side note, someone posted a negative review because of a situation with their two dogs. In part they alleged that the rules regarding dogs were hidden or some such bull poop. I don’t own dogs, but even I knew coming in what the rules were- very plainly stated. Please disregard his troll like rant.

Very good experience. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Customer service with Sherry was outstanding. A good place for somebody looking for more of a great local experience versus a high-end hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable (on the firm side). Really enjoyed the experience.
Clean room, super friendly and helpful receptionist. Good sized room. Drive right up. Nice view of mountains.
Has microwave mini fridge, coffee, etc. plus in the lobby have extremely well priced food items (yogurt, sandwich, bars, chips, etc.)
No frill, nice clean rooms short distance from Denali national park. Really great hospitable, cheerful manager. Had great conversation with her and she provided great tips about the area. The repurposed old rail cars were a cool touch. Apparently the hotel itself and these rail cars used to be NPS properties.
This is a great choice for a stay near Denali National park. The park entrance is within 15 min scenic drive. All rooms are on the ground floor with parking spot in front of the unit.
Close to ATV rentals. Grocery and restaurant options are close by.
Rooms were nice, of decent size, and clean. The views around the hotel are amazing as the attached pictures show. Plan to stay here if you go to Denali National Park to see Mt McKinley. Also plan to have breakfast at Roses Diner just down the road - excellent.
